Christmas Eve Traditions

Brent read from the Scriptures about the birth of our Savior and did a great job explaining to Jenna why we really celebrate Christmas. Sometimes it is hard for a three-year old to comprehend the birth of a tiny baby over two thousand years ago and the impact He would have on the World.

Here they are dressed in their new jammies.

The famous "Christmas Eve" pajamas.

Our Traditional Dinner of Steak and Crab legs. The Steak dinner is a Robertson famioy tradition and the King Crab legs is something Brent and I added a few years ago. Jenna thought the Crab legs would be "disgusting", but she actually loved it and asked if we could eat it again another day.

This year we started a new tradition. Jenna was given "Reindeer Dust" from her teacher at school and the instructions said to sprinkle it outside so that the glittery red sparkles would guide them to our house and the oats would give the Reindeer some food while they waited for Santa to finish putting out the toys.
