"Sock" fight

This is Hanna cheering Dad on
Notice the small sock on the pillow

"Jenna--Quick and hide"

"Missed me Missed me now you have to kiss me"
Brent has recently started "sock fights" with Jenna. My favorite, especially for those who know of my feet aversion. Jenna and Brent chase each other through the house throwing "used" socks at each others heads and Hanna just follows along laughing all the way.

Learning our ABC's

"Mom look!!! I put "H" for Hannah so her high chair doesn't get lost!!"
Beautiful lips

And look at those fingernails.

Jenna really loves school and as such has been concentrating really hard on learning letters and understanding their sounds. Unfortunately I became too busy one day to paint her fingernails. After much patience, Jenna realized I probably was not going to get to it Yet again. So, she took matters into her own hands. This is what happens when you leave a three year old coloring alone for three minutes.

Just after Halloween, we had a wonderful snow day. Just enough to make Jenna happy.

The After-Effects

Actually, these are the funny glasses Mrs. Shaneen gave Jenna at her spooky Halloween party.

This is what happens when you eat too much candy for Halloween!!

Funny Story

Ashlee Tanner and I decided to brave Halloween Trick-or-Treating together. After several pictures and little bit of rain, we made our way to about 4 or 5 houses. Jenna was really getting the hang of saying "trick or treat" and even singing between houses. But Libby had decided that she was done. She had enough candy and no longer needed to trick-or-treat and promptly began walking home. After about 15 minutes of coaxing and finally when she was allowed to bring her umbrella, she finally consented to go to a few more houses. Jenna was charged and would have gone a lot farther had her tired feet permitted her to go. What a fun night!

More Pics

Hannah guarding the entry way.
There is no way to possibly get 2 three year olds to smile at the same time.

She made it to about 4 or 5 houses before the rain came, so I sent her back to guard the real candy.

Hannah so excited!!!

Now both girls were ready to go and patiently (NOT) waiting for me to take enough pictures.

Halloween Day!!!!

And off came the hat. You know that wouldn't last long.

Here are my two Pirate Princesses. Aren't they cute?

Even Hannah loved it!!!

My second attempt at a Halloween meal produced better results. Mummy hotdogs are a treat for everyone. Jenna ate two.

Halloween day, I had all kinds of plans for family fun, but like all best laid plans..... Ashley Tanner and began our festivities with making a special lunch for Jenna and Libby. We made grilled cheese jack-o-lanterns and a witchy brew for them to drink. They didn't like the drink and they didn't each much of the sandwiches. And no we did not get pictures.

More School

Coloring together
Jenna's friend, Libby is quite the artist. She is the only three year old I know who really takes the time to color in the lines and is particular about color as well. What a cute pumpkin

Jenna loves doing all of the art projects at school. this is her spider made from her hands. I will always knowJenna's hands by her cute crooked pinky's

Jenna and Mrs. Shaneen

Jenna's first Halloween party at school

There was a Ninja, Cowboy, Monkey, 2 Pumpkins, Sleeping Beauty, a Cat, and of course a ravishing Princess Pirate.
Jenna has loved school this year. She would go every day if she could. Every morning as Ms. Shaneen is waiting for every one to come, they have an opening activity. Here they are coloringa mummy sack for their treets. What cute costumes!!!

"Can we go yet, MOM!!!"

What a great SMILE!!!

Jenna was so excited to go to her Halloween party. I had to work today, but Cindy covered my class so that I could get Jenna ready. This year she was a princess pirate. She wanted to be a princess and I wanted her to be a pirate, so we compromised. How cute is that.

Carving Pumpkins

I carved teeth in this one, but when I went to pull it out, out came the teeth. I am the best dentist ever!!!
This is my happy "vampire" pumpkin

As you can see, Jenna's pumpkin was painted before we carved it. My good friend, Cindy Ness, came and picked her up one day while I was having a rough day and let her paint a pumpkin wit her little girls.

Jenna and Dad had a great time carving pumpkins for family night. Somehow mom got stuck carving the rest. Click on the picture to see the smaller one's up close.

Happy 14th birthday Kara!!!

Divalicious
Must have the accesories

Kara, acting surprised at the new clothes she received, that we had just perchased the day before. :-)

Jenna is showing how grumpy she is that she did not get the bear.

Kara recived a carebare ( I think it is "oopsy" bear which fits her perfectly) from her friends in the neighborhood.

If I were a truly mean person, which sometimes I am, I might post the sillier pictures of Kara for all the world to see, however because I am feeling nice, I chose the best ones. She thought she was being funny while posing, but she forgets that I always get the last laugh.
Happy birthday Karabear!!! Love you

Uh-oh Spaghettios!!

Hannah loves spaghetti, but she insists on eating it herself which is not much fun for me.

My little helper

Jenna is very sweet and often times will help me especially doing my least favorite activity: folding laundry. She does pretty well for a three year old. In fact she does better than........

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!!!

Although, Hannah was not super thrilled that Brent came home at first, it is amaizing what an Elmo phone will do to change her attitude.
Now who's happy to see Daddy!!!

And of course Jenna could not have been more thrilled with her new Princess accessories that Daddy brought her.
Now where does this leave me....I did not get a surprise new phone or accessories. Oh well, I guess I know where I fit in.
6 weeks is a long time and Jenna anxiously waited for Dad to come home by marking on her Calendar.

Cornbelly's!!!!

Alex was the engineer of the train!! TOOT TOOT!!
Mr. Safety making sure everyone was taking turns. I'm not sure if that refers to Jacob or Grandpa.

Cow train--Alex did not like it quite as much as Carolyn and Jenna

I had to get proof that Jenna is not as "big" as she thinks she is

Proof that Alex is just a bit taller than Jenna

Best buds on the slide

They had a cute little princess village that Jenna absolutely loved.

Alex sure did love the trains

Jenna is soooooo cute

Carolyna and Jenna in the hidden Hay maze

Bubba tried to scare us numerous times by running ahead and jumping out

Jenna is telling Grandpa where to go, and I'm not so sure I would follow.

Can these kids lead the way?

While Ally and Rob were living the good life in sunny California, Grandma and Grandpa decided to take the kids to Cornbellies. As Hannah was needing a nap, Grandma volunteered to stay home with her and Grandpa and I were the lucky ones who took the kids to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. Talk about trying to find a needle in a haystack, try keeping track of 6 kids at a corn field. Luckily we all made it home safe and sound without losing one kid (at least for more than a few seconds).
