Kara was absent during this video and that is why Jenna stepped up. Kara was not feeling well this trip out, so she spent some time recuperating. Get well Kara.

Valentines Day: A day of love and affection. This year on Valentines Day we had a great time showing each other our love. (Yeah Right) Kara and I began the festivities on Friday 13th making homemade Valentines with Jenna. It is a good thing girls take care of the holidays.

New Years Eve
Jenna and Hannah were wrestling and it is amazing how Hannah really can get the upper hand on Jenna.
Pretty as a princess!!!
Sparklers!!!
No it is not alcohol.

Hannah and Jenna loved the Sparklers!!!

Hannah opened her cracker and there was a whistle. It was the favorite of the group.

Finished Product: Crown for a Princess
Jenna was very careful to work on her gluing and glittering.
Libby working on her masterpeice.
Libby and Jenna
For New Years this year we invited the Tanners up for a grand old time. Kara was at a Youth New Year's Eve Party, Tyler was playing games, and the rest of us had a long way to go til the midnight hour. Thanks to Aunt Leigh-Leigh, we had a box of creative crafts we could pull from so that we could keep the little ones entertained.
I can't believe a New Year is upon us. 2009 and my little ones continue to grow. Kara will be 15 this year learning to drive;Ty will be 12 passing the sacrament; Jenna will be 4 learning to ride a bike; and little Hannah will be 2, growing way to fast for all of us. It saddens me how quickly they grow. Jenna is already talking of going to the big school down the hill from our house. It seems like just yesterday she was born. A new year with new promises and beginnings and hope that our Nation will heal and grow and prosper and more importantly that our families will follow in faith and prepare for what lies ahead.

Oh the memories
Dad to the rescue!!!!+of+Dec-Jan+2009+037.jpg)
About 20 + years ago, when I was a little girl I had the same misfortune Jenna seems to be having in this picture. I decided to sit my bum in a chair that had a hole much too small for my bum. Consequently, somewhere in my parents' boxes of pictures there is one of me with my dad helping me by kicking my bum out of the chair. I was literally stuck. So when Jenna found herself in this predicament, I couldn't help but laugh and reminisce. Posted by The Robertson Family at 2:43 PM 0 comments
Temple Lights
The ride back was not so exciting.
Trying to get a family picture in front of the temple is near impossible when the temperature is down in the teens and everyone is tired and hungry.
What a cute snow bunny.
Well, at least Kara and Tyler are happy.
After Christmas Brent and I decided to take the family, along with our good friends the Tanners, to Salt Lake to see the Temple Lights. I had no idea how cold it was going to be, but we still had a good time. Well, at least most of us did. you will find pictures of some of us smiling, some of the time.

OH NO!!! WE now have a Rockstar in our midst.
Tyler hugged Jenna after she so excitedly gave him his "boy smelly stuff."
And what do you get a 14 year old girl? Clothes, Clothes, and more clothes. But because Kara was not here to shop with and because you don't just buy a 14 year old any type of clothes, Kara received a gift card to go shopping with friends.
Here is Kara showing off her newly acquired shoes. They are almost a little to "sexy" for her. She's growing up too fast.I have to tell you, Christmas is never truly Christmas until the whole family is together. Kara and Tyler arrived on the 26th and we were able to celebrate all over again. Jenna was so cute. She went to the store with Brent and took her $10.00 that she had earned doing chores. She bought Kara some lip gloss and Tyler some "boy smelly stuff" (body wash). She spent all but $1.00 on her siblings because she wanted to give them something.

I'm not sure what Santa was thinking, but he gave Jenna make-up and hair color, which she liberally put on about every 2 hours--just in case it was rubbing off.
Hannah--relaxing after a rough morning of opening presents.
Jenna and her Tinkerbell doll
Jenna and her "computer". It is a Leapster 2 that has games that teach her letter and number recognition and beginning math. She loves to play her computer.

When Hannah opened her train from Grandma and Grandpa A, she was not interested in anything else. So Jenna proceeded to open the rest of Hannah's gifts.
Go Hannah Go!!!
Hanna loved her new animal puzzle.
Princess Barbie and the Diamond Castle--this is just what Jenna wanted!!!
Hannah and her baby.
Jenna loves to do crafts and we are so glad Santa brought her a craft table and a whole bucket of markers, paints, glitter, etc, so she can craft away.
Christmas Morning finally came. Jenna had been gluing her cotton balls on her countdown Santa and had been waiting anxiously for this day to arrive. She and Hannah had a glorious time helping each other unwrap presents. My favorite part had to be when Jenna gave Hannah a present she had bought for her little sister with her very own money. Jenna had gone to the store with Brent and took all her dollars with her. She bough Kara lipgloss, Tyler some man-smelling body wash, and Hannah-a Dora bouncy ball. All of her money was gone, but she sure was proud to give her brother and sisters a gift. Though we did not have Kara and Ty here on Christmas morning, we did celebrate with them the following day. Stay tuned for more updates.Posted by The Robertson Family at 1:20 PM 0 comments
